Do You Want to Coach with QBDNA?
We are always looking for talented QB Coaches that want to help QBs in their local area. We are open to expanding anywhere in the United States, and look forward to hearing from you on why you believe you would be a good fit as a QBDNA Coach.
What Does a QBDNA Coach look like?
QB Coach Requirements
At QBDNA, we're looking for QB Coaches that did one of the following:
- Played QB in College or NFL
- Coached QBs in College or NFL
- Understand throwing mechanics at an extremely high level and can explain them at a 3rd grade understanding
We also require that you are always 5 minutes early for training sessions, and willing to submit a background check when going through the hiring phase. Any legal trouble is required to be reported immediately.
Do I control my own schedule?
Yes! We work with you to set your schedule each week. We will not require to you to train, as we want QB Coaches that want to help QBs get better.
You will only be paid based on the amount of hours to train in a week. We will train as much as you want to!
Our platform will automatically send you booking emails for training, and allow you to set your availability each week in case it fluctuates.
Where would I train?
We want to make coaching as convenient for you as possible. You do not need to relocate, as we would start training where you live.
The only requirement we have is that you would need to find a local field that we could train at, providing enough space for 2-4 QBs to train in a single session.
How long are On-Field Training Sessions?
Training sessions are an hour long, barring any enviromental issues (lightning, rain etc).
Coaches are responsible for making the call based on inclement weather as we do not put our QBs in harms way.
Are Parents allowed to be near the session?
Yes! We want the parents to be involved, if they choose to be. We're happy to coach and show the parents what their QB needs to work on, so the QB can work on it at home.
Giving the kids homework (drills) to do at home will only make them get better faster. We like to say 300 reps a day!
What happens if a session is cancelled?
We try our best to not cancel sessions, but know that sometimes emergencies happen.
On our side, we cannot control the weather or waking up sick, so we do our best to communicate as soon as possible to reduce unneccessary travel.
If something happens, alert the client and Coach Cole as soon as possible so we can communicate accordingly.
What's the Pay?
We offer pay starting at $40 / hr (session) and can adjust based on the level of QB Knowledge you bring to the table. If you prove to be an elite level QB Coach, we will pay you accordingly.
We also offer an incentive program, designed to pay you if clients continue to train with you over the course of the year.
How Do I Get Clients?
We do all the marketing for you, and are responsible for driving clients to you in your local area. With your elite level coaching, clients will start to attract and hear about you, which will only grow your portfolio of QBs who want to train.
Can QBs bring WRs?
YES! We want our QBs to bring WRs so it makes it easier on you. Understand that occasionally QBs won't have WRs, so you may have to catch or ask the family member that brought the QB to catch for you.
The more attention we can provide to a QB, the better they will become. WRs = more attention for the QB.
Do We Have Liability Insurance?
Yes, we have liability insurance that covers the coach and the player from any injury that happens, only on the field.
We NEVER want to put our QBs in physical danger, and operate under that assumption. If a field is not fit to train on, DO NOT train on it at the risk of QB Injury. We will reschedule the session and find a separate field in the future.
Can I Coach Virtually?
Yes! If you have interest in creating coaching videos, breaking down hudl film, and hosting film sessions, please reach out and we will discuss with you.
